Strangers in the Library

Good Morning to you all :D
...except the fact that half of you guys are asleep at the moment.
It is just gone 10.13 here in London, and I have just returned from doing my prank. (Prank or Random act of kindness, either way they made people smile)

So my dilemma started on Monday, I thought I had a prank lined up. I was going to po
st interesting random facts around my street. However whilst talking with one of my friends, I realised that in my area that this wouldn't work, just because of what type of area it is.
I would have done something at school but it's half term and I'm on study leave.

So I spent all week trying to think of something, and then my friend came over yesterday. She gave me the idea that I should spread some positivity around the library.
In my local library, on the second floor is an area devoted to silent study. Many different people use it but often during the half terms it is primarily used by students and esp
ecially this one as there are many exams coming up.
So I went there this morning as soon as it opened and placed notes on the majority of the tables.
Which basically read something along the lines of;

Hello Person of the Library,
Good Morning/Afternoon to you,
Hope your day of studying/revising/ general library-ness is a good day and that the rest of your day is pleasant.
If you have exams, I wish you good luck :)
Remember: (Random Quote here)
(E.g)“The best portion of a good man’s life is his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and of love” – William Wordsworth
(or) "The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your
attitude."
Keep Me to remind yourself that you are awesome!

Whilst posting these I got some very odd looks from a woman who just stared at me for ages (She may have been a decepticon).
Hopefully I have made someone's day studying a lot more bearable.
It would have been nice to have been on the receiving end of one of your 'pranks'.

Emily- Do you know what your neighbours reaction to it was?
Caitlin - Have you been back to see if they are all gone?

Till the next post,

(P.s I haven''t watched A very Potter musical, I was planning to watch it next week though)

  1. This was really nice! I can't believe you went through all the trouble of handwriting all those notes!

I have no idea what my neighbors' reaction was, although I did notice that they'd taken all the Tootsie Pops out of their yard by Wednesday afternoon.
