To be sure, to be sure… It is Wednesday! (Actually it’s Thursday… For me)

Reason for the to be sure, to be sure: It’s St. Patrick’s Day today…
And I’m currently sitting at a school computer, and one of the teachers just somehow got his hands onto the intercom and said that in a horrible Irish accent. Yes, this true. My school is odd. End of story. So onto questions!

What’s your favourite birthday memory?
Last year… It wasn’t on my birthday (I had camp) but I had a party the day before. And I wouldn’t necessarily call this my favourite birthday memory but it’s the only one I do remember. My friend Annabelle got me a present. This present was evil. This present was my very own pass the parcel. With one person and no music. Fun.
NOT.
At the end of the parcel was cereal. Then she laughed and said, “Would you like your real present?” I glared, another laugh and I end up with bath stuff. That smelt like strawberries. J

What drew you to Nerdfighteria?
Honestly, I can’t remember. But I can say who drew me to Nerdfighteria. Charlieissocoollike. And my cousin. Through them I found the Vlogbrothers and then the rest is history. (As I write this my friend is staring at my badge weirdly. It’s a DFTBA badge that says, ‘Imagine me complexly.’ [Now she’s questioning it])

What colour would you paint the sky?
Yes. I type it as colour. And don’t the English do it that way too?
So, I would paint it the colour of the sunset… Or a paint that reflects the mood of the Earth. But at the moment, it wouldn’t be a pretty colour. Something disgusting. Isn’t the sky a mixture of all the colours in the world? And the ocean is a reflection of the sky ;)

Where has been your favourite place you’ve travelled to?
Another U. It must be an Australian thing… One U in the words that require none.. Hah! We’re cool ;)
Favourite place… Egypt, Sydney and Co Samui. Egypt, coz it’s Egypt and dead pharaohs are cool :D
Sydney, that’s actually are really nice place… And the aquarium is cool. SHARKS! Yay.
Co Samui, I love it. Been there a few times. Beautiful place…

In a utopian's society that you create, what role, if any, would emperor penguins play in it?
This is just an awesome question. Random and awesome. I must remember it.
Emperor penguins… Don’t the just live life in snow? With eggs and then they randomly start dancing? And singing…? (My iPod just lit up.. I think it’s jealous over the fact that I’m listening to music on the computer. I’m at home now :D) Urm, I think they’d just chill… Be emperor penguins. I’d try figure out if they can speak. That’d be pretty cool. And if everyone had a penguin they’d be the Emperors of penguins. J

NOW, ONTO THE THEME!
I like this theme. I reckon I’ve helped decrease world suck by a little bit… I’ve helped out with some charities over the past few years.
How will I end world suck… Well, Earth Hour. (26TH OF MARCH!!)

I’m gonna participate in that and I’m gonna spread the word… Maybe organize an event somewhere.. Who knows ;) Umm, I’m planning on working part-time at this organization, charity thingy for youth stuff. Only people under 26 can work there and that seems really cool. I just gotta find out the name and ring. Also, as I have just checked my emails and gotten an email telling me about Live Below the Line, I’m going to do that too…

Basically, I’m going to find anything and everything that I can do, and do it. And Emily. We should sooo make that idea into a thing.

DFTBA everybody…

  2. Earth Hour <3<3<3 One of the coolest things the world has ever done. It's so awesome to see over, and over again how social media can have such a positive effect.

Postscript: The australian thing was a joke.. sorry if you were offended. :(

  3. I got it early thursday as well. If you want to try posting on actual wednesday for you it would probably go up early wednesday for us or even late enough on tuesday that we wouldn't have a chance to read it until wed.
