It's Friday, finally.

Hey there, it's finally Friday, happy weekend-to-be-day. Okay, so... questions!

What's your favorite birthday memory?
Well I really don't have many good birthday memories. My favorite memory would probably be the birthday, (either 11 or 12) when my family had a party at my grandparents house. My grandfather and I have the same birthday witch is kind of neat.

Where has been your favorite place you've traveled to?
My favorite place to travel to by far was Washington DC. I was there with my younger brother and my father for a bit less than a week. We stayed in a hotel near the national mall so we could walk there, but we tended to take the metro since we got a week pass. I really enjoyed the museums there and other things of that nature. I wasn't too much interested in the government part of it though, I was never too into politics.

What colour would you paint the sky?
Well, blue. If I color the sky a different color, people would kinda freak out.

In a utopian society that you create, what role, if any, would emperor penguins play in it?

TEACHERS! Yes, penguins would have functioning human vocal cords, the ability to learn vast amounts of knowledge and later teach human children that information. I'm not sure why I want this, I just think it would be kinda cool.

Anywho... The theme!

To fight general world suck, I have done a bit of volunteering with the local branch of Habitat for Humanity, helping build houses for people who went through some rough times, but are trying to turn their life around. This isn't exactly a charity organization, but it's not a business. Basically, the people who we are building the homes for have to pay a certain amount for building expenses and whatnot (much much less than they would have to pay to do it themselves), and then they need to volunteer for the Habitat for at least 500 hours. All the money the Habitat gets from the people who they are building houses for goes into buying materials for new houses.
I also donate to the RDF (Richard Dawkins Foundation.) Richard Dawkins is a rather controversial evolutionary biologist as well as an author (wrote The Selfish Gene, An Ancestor's Tale, The God Delusion, and one of my favorites, The Greatest Show on Earth,) and an outspoken atheist. The RDF supports education of children all over the world. The part of the RDF I support mostly is "Non-believers Giving Aid." This part of the RDF supports people in disaster areas such as Haiti and most recently Japan. I'll give you guys links to the websites below so you can help out if you want to.

I'm sorry for any grammatical errors you may have found in this, I do usually correct them, honest, but I'm just about to go to sleep since I had 4 exams today in a row... so.... yup. :/

Anywho... Looking forward to reading your blog Monday, Chuck.

DFTBA,
Colin.

(I just figured out bold and text size and I'm going to work on inserting pictures next week. Sorry for my lack of beautiful images like the rest of you.)

Oh *shirt*! I forgot

What Drew You to Nerdfighteria?
I honestly don't remember. I am one of those people who click on videos on YouTube out of boredom, that's how I found Wheezy Waiter, Charlie, Dan Brown, PhillyD, the Vlogbrothers, ect.
