Wall 1! Straight ahead when you enter.
Mostly taken up by my window, which is mostly taken up by a tree. But I love my tree, it makes me feel like my room is in a quiet forest instead of a big city and it gives me privacy instead of facing windows from the house across the alley. Hanging in the middle is a stained glass plate with a picture of a carousel horse. I've had it since I was little and just feel like it would be unnatural to take it down. The lady bug in the corner was made by my pen pal.
All the way along the wall above my window are tickets from Citadel shows. It's one of the major theatres in Edmonton and for the past three years I've gotten season tickets for their main-stage series.
Wall 2! To the left when you come in.
So I'm currently in the process of cleaning, re-organising, and re-decorating my room so this wall is currently blank. There used to be a poster of two golden retriever puppies. Now though all that's really there is the headboard of my bed, with picture of friends, and my bedside table, with stuff such as my stereo, lamp, and a light up rose from DisneyWorld. Because DisneyWorld is one of my favourite places on earth and Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite movies.
Wall 3! Same wall as the door.
Sorry it's sideways! Important things here include: Harry Potter calendar, bulletin board full of random mementos, pin flag with pins from everywhere I've been, and a wintry Winnie the Pooh painting :)
Wall 4! To the right when you come in.
Bookshelf! On top is all my high school stuff, grad cap, grad photos and certificate, awards for honours and major service, as well as my yearbooks. I feel like it's a little bit shrine-ish but I don't have it as a vanity thing, more to remind myself of what my hard work allowed me to accomplish in school. The next shelf is scripts and memorabilia from shows I've worked on, the puzzle piece on the wall next to it is signed by my fellow crew members from gr11. Below that's a dinosaur in an egg. The rest of the shelves are books :)
Next to my book shelf is my dresser covered in stuff, and the mirror that's attached to it. Then a big empty space which used to have a massive poster of a rainbow and waterfall and flowers with the silhouette of two people prancing about...I've come to the conclusion it's a little strange and have taken it down to be replace by an awesome Doctor Who poster I got.
So yeah, that's pretty much my walls :) also sorry this is a bit late (it's almost 1am here) stuff just kept coming up to prevent me from getting it done at a reasonable time :S
DFTBA,
-Kim
