My 10th Post!!

Hey Everyone, I would like to start off by saying yay! I made it to ten posts, with only one late post, being this one...
So this week marked the start of my summer holidays, therefore we shall start from the top;

Monday: On monday I went on this trip with this charity called TeachFirst to which I spoke, along with my friends, to groups of newly qualified teachers on what we thought would make the best/perfect school. And after I did a speech at the end addressing all 1500+ people. It was so nerve racking, the whole looking up over the lectern to see that many faces just staring at you. But I'm so glad I did it, the experience was invaluable. I did have a picture to put here, but it wasn't very good.

Tuesday: Spent the day in my room watching season one of Doctor Who ... :D

Thursday: This day started off as a very slow day; it was really hot and I was bored stiff, till about 3pm when I got on my bike and met my friend. We ended up riding around on our bikes for an hour around all the quiet more suburban roads in our town. Then we ended up in a nearby park where we climbed trees and stuff. It was a nice day, a type of summer-y you plan in your head when you are younger.

Friday: Another day which started with me doing nothing. I ended up in the middle of London, in Hatton Gardens helping my sister and her fiancé pick out wedding rings. When we got home we went to the cinema and I finally got to see Harry Potter. ARGH it took me so long to finally see it and all I can say it Neville is so badass and what am I to do to for the next ten years of my life!!

Saturday: Saturday was kind of my Thoughts from Places day. I visited a farm with my family to check it out as a possible
venue for my sister's wedding. Then we went for Tunbridge Wells all the way to the coast to a place called Beechy Head; an area I had visited last year on holiday.
The weather was AMA-ZING and the sea looked beautiful. We had lunch in a pub and the walked along the cliff edge. Here are some pictures; (It has taken me about 15 ish minutes to do the pictures as I just received an email from Emily about Mike Lombardo; Thats so cool and nice song btw :D )
(Pictures include a Giant Compass which gave directions and miles to certain cities and me in the blue hoodie sitting on the edge of the cliff top)

Sunday: Well today all I did was have a gaint BBQ with my family. It was nice and sunny and felt like real summer, not the psuedo summer we normally have here in England...Oh and I got a white board :D

Well, This has been a long-ish post
so dftba till tomorrow

  1. You skipped Wednesday! haha. Those are awesome pictures, I love the one of you on the cliff. Good for you, talking to that many people, by the way. I don't think I could have done that.
