- In the process of writing this I have just realised my copy of The Deathly Hallows is missing :O
Okay so this is where I start making enemies.
I'm probably not as big a Harry Potter fan as the rest of you.
Instead of the 'brilliant' writing and lifestyles (to some extent) that J.K Rowling has given to a lot other people. I haven't made life long friends, I haven't gain perspective into my own life, but I've gained something else, I've gained hope.
I was in Year 3 (eight years old, or something like that) when I first of Harry Potter. My eldest sister, fresh out of university, had come home and brought me a present. Volumes One to Four of a series of books I'd never heard of. Apparently they were making some movie about it too. She wouldn't give it to me at first; she said she wanted to read it first to make sure they were suitable for someone my age, and then placed them on top of the huge cupboard in the Dining Room.
But clever little me, eager to read the forbidden texts, grabbed the dining table chairs and climbed up. I got the Philosopher's stone, and I read it.
That was it; unlike everyone around me, I felt no amazement in the first installment.
But ever the optimist I was, I read on. It wasn't till I reached The Prisoner of Azkaban did it click with me. First it clicked that I fancied Ron (and am proud about it :D) , then it clicked that I shouldn't judge werewolves and then when I looked up out of my HP fantasy world and looked around me it clicked, Harry Potter brought people together. Both fictional and real.

And I guess that's what I love most about it. Everywhere around the world, we are united.
Our whole generation has this one factor, be it the film or the movie (though I generally oppose those, in every context, think that watching the film is equal to reading the book).
With this movie, the final installment, I don't agree with the tagline (as I think has already been mentioned) It doesn't end here. Personally I don't think it'll ever end. These Harry Potter Nerds will have kids who will grow into it just like they were.

Instead of the end, really it still feels like the beginning. I still get those goosebumps when the music starts up.
Everything else I would want to say about HP has been said already in other posts and vlogs and blogs.
So thats all for tonight, but remember, when those credits roll, it's not over and it never dftba
