Year 13

Okay so before I start my rant about my first week back, I would like to take the opportunity to say that on Wednesday of this week I became an Aunt to a healthy, yet unnamed baby boy. Being the first newborn in our immediate family since I was born, it has been a very exciting thing for us all :D

Okay so onto school, Year 13, my last year before Uni and so far it's been everything I expected. Same teachers grilling us over stupid things like uniform, same old classrooms, same old tired faces of the other students.
But saying that it's not all bad. My English Literature lessons have been absolutely brilliant so far; the teacher teaching Othello is hilarious, but because he has a passion for this play he's teaching us really well. My psychology lessons are the similar sort of scenarios to last year but its nice to be back into something more comfortable and familiar. Biology and Chemistry are all a bit O.o to me; always has and always probably will, but its nice after six weeks to come back and have some focus.

Though the worst part of this all is my timetable; out of ALL my friends it is agreed I have the most disgusting timetable! Always my luck; I have a total of four free periods compared to one of my friends who has 15 at the moment. I have two full days and 3 days of four periods. It's tiring and it will soon take it's toll on me, but it does (and will) keep me focused for the rest of the year.

Hope everyone's enjoying school in some form or another,
