On thursday I'll be returning to school to start my Senior year. Usually the week before school starts is kind of miserable, but I'm kind of looking forward to my last first day with this weird feeling of crushing optimism. I have the easiest schedule any high school senior could possibly ask for (I get out everday at about 11:40) and I mean after one of the busiest, most exciting, and most fantastic summers of my life how could I look at it any other way?
I recently bought a nook (which I can honestly say has been one of the best investments of my life.) so I plan on spending these last few days of summer reading. Then school starts, and I can't say that I've ever been more ready for summer to end. But for the most part, I'm really just excited for graduation... LOL
And since there's a Bright Eyes song to go with almost any situation this is totally how I feel about my highschool years coming to a close:
