In Ten Years Time...

Dear 28 year old Kim,

I don't know what life has in store for you, nor do I know how your last ten years have past but I want you to always remember these first 18 years. There have been good times and bad but they all have made you into the person you are today. I hope that you look back on these times with the fondest of memories.

Are you still in theatre? I hope so. But if not remember that time your school did Les Miz? And no one thought you'd be able to pull it off but you kind of did? I hope you're still proud of that. I hope you remember the love and support of all the people you worked with through high school and that they still hold a piece of your heart.

Always stay true to who you are. Never be ashamed of setting your ring tone to the imperial march from star wars (Remember your high school art teacher did that!) and never be ashamed of proclaiming your nerdiness. Value intelligence, logic, and kindness above all else and you should have very few problems in life.

Reaching the end of high school I don't know which way we'll go but never let there be regret. Keep optimism and dreams close to your heart and cherish all the good times you've had.

Always you,

-Kim

  1. I like this. Short and sweet. Also, YOU DID LES MIZ? I'm jealous.

  2. This is so good.

COINCIDENCE: I played I Dreamed a Dream in my 9th grade Orchestra (it was amazing) and we're playing a Star Wars Medley for our June concert this year.
